Save Star Trek - Help Support the Continuation of the Franchise

HEY PARAMOUNT! MOVE ENTERPRISE TO THE SCI-FI CHANNEL AT IT'S CURRENT PRICE. YOU CAN AFFORD IT AND SO CAN THEY. TREKKIES WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!Some will criticize Star Trek as an obsession they could not understand how anyone could know so much about, or want too. What they are missing is the big picture. Star Trek means more than "Beam me up!" and "Phasers on stun!" It is an idealistic society based in the future after all or the world's hardships are solved. What this means is that the people who tease are ridiculing what we fight for every day. Imagine an end to war, poverty, and hunger. That is exactly what Star Trek preaches. A society that is capable of taking care of itself, working together to better themselves, and reaching beyond their own world into the unknown. The basic and continuing exploration of humanity.

Today, with Star Trek: Nemesis having difficulty at the box office and the canceling of Star Trek: Enterprise, it has been evident that the franchise is suffering and the fan base is not as dedicated as they once were. I believe that the original fan base still cares, but does not fully support the further expansions of the story line. This above all else must change. The dedication to the fan's favorite series must continue into the additional incarnations if the legacy is to continue.

Besides getting back to Star Trek for the original reasons why we fell in love with it in the first place, below is a list of resources you can use to help.
