U.S.S. Valorous Series - Episode 1
Captain’s Log, Stardate: 59454.6
(The team begins at the reception directly after graduation
from Starfleet Academy. After introductions, They are summoned
to transporter room 2 where they are asked to don their duty
uniforms. They are left only with their communicators and
a box of 5 phasers. they are transported to a cave where they
find 2 romulan scientists and 2 guards. The entire team is
taken down except for Ensign P'Kyrr. Admiral Jonas Wellman
calls for the arch to reveal that it was a holodeck program.)
The Recent Starfleet Academy graduates are about to embark
on their first mission. After suffering defeat in their first
level 7 combat training session, it is clear that intensive
tactic training will be necessary en-route to the Klingon
home world, Qo'noS.
(The team successfully defeats 5 Klingons on a lava-filled,
catwalk bordered room with a center platform and 4 bridges)
The newly assigned Starfleet Tactical Unit has been ordered
to escort Ambassador Worf to the Klingon High Council. Preliminary
talks about the Federation/Romulan Treaty, and rising tension
in the Klingon Empire as a result, are hoped by Starfleet
Command to avoid the almost inevitable conflict. Consequently,
anti-Starfleet factions and internal house controversy is
making it difficult for any starfleet personnel to stay on
the planet.
(The team and Worf beam down to the surface, hear footsteps
closing on their position, and run quickly to Klingon High
Council chamber. On approaching the steps, shots are fired
from renegade Klingons. Rejal and V'Gorneth lag behind to
cover escape. The team is confronted at the top of the steps
where their weapons are taken by 7 Klingons lead by one bald
Klingon. The bald Klingon challenges one of the members of
the team to one-on-one bat’leth combat. The team chooses
Ensign Sauyed V'gorneth, a force field cage materializes and
combat commences. After a long detailed battle, V'Gorneth
wins.)
The Klingon High Council decisions are famous for being made
swiftly. The mission should be short and to the point. As
Ambassador Worf is highly respected, both in the Federation
and Klingon circles, Starfleet Command does not expect any
issues. Starfleet officers are required to protect Ambassador
Worf, maintain peace, and avoid conflict as much as possible.
(Worf enters the council chamber, kills 2 renegade Klingons.
After 15 minutes, the Klingon High Council commends theTactical
Unit’s efforts and agrees to suspend their decision
to discontinue membership in the UFP.)
