U.S.S. Valorous Series - Episode 2
Captain’s Log, Stardate: 59497.4
Efforts on the Klingon home world have greatly increased
our chances of maintaining peace with the Klingon empire.
To my understanding, though a rocky start, the Federation
and the Klingon Empire have been in deliberation for over
a week now. It seems the only reason talks have gone on as
long as they have is due to the unparalleled efforts of the
Tactical Unit, however; I fear the Klingon’s patience
is wearing thin.
Other reports have revealed a potential threat involving
a Romulan faction and what is left of the Cardassians. Starfleet
Intelligence believes that we can expect a conflict between
the two any day now. Consequently, we have been patrolling
Cardassian space, under cloak, for 3 days to no resolve.
(The team is ordered to report to coordinates on the Romulan/Cardassian
border where the T’leres (A Romulan faction opposed
to UFP/Romulan treaty) Romulan warbird is holding position.
The team infiltrates and retrieves the formula and treatment
of biological agent, Losvek 6. Further investigating reveals
that Losvek 6 was developed by Commander Voras of the Tal’Shiar,
many transmissions documenting voras as T’Leres mole.)
(After completing the first part of their mission, Starfleet
reports Cardassia Prime is under attack. Distress call reports
force field perimeter defenses down, multiple casualties,
and wounded. MANY Cardassians are showing signs of skin discoloration
and difficulty breathing. Tasks accomplished:
Ensign Sauyed V'gorneth and Ensign Steve Smith synthesis
the parts needed to repair the force field
Ensign Valentine Kyros is ordered to tend wounded &
synthesize a treatment to the agent. Racing the clock Ensign
Valentine Kyros synthesizes the cure and begins administering
the vaccine.
Ensign Golnar Rejal, Ensign Latha Taban, and Ensign P'Kyrr
successfully defend the team and remaining cardassian militia
and citizens with minimal, acceptable losses.)
(After finding that the U.S.S. Valorous has been disabled
in combat in orbit of the planet, the team, with the U.S.S.
Valourous in tow, are ferried to Deep Space 9 by the Galaxy
Class Starship, the U.S.S. Achilles. Shore leave will commence
at Bajor, with a layover at Deep Space 9.)
