U.S.S. Valorous Series - Episode 3
Captain’s Log, Stardate: 59501.2
The U.S.S. Valorous damage report confirms warp drive and
propulsion system are offline, inertial dampeners are offline,
life support is at 9% efficiency, and 55% of the bio-neural
circuitry relays are destroyed. The U.S.S. Valorous requires
docking at Deep Space 9 for extensive repairs. Estimated repair
times are at minimum two weeks. The U.S.S. Valorous fought
valiantly against two Romulan warbirds until the U.S.S. Achilles
arrived to destroy one heavily damaged warbird and drive the
second away.
After a brief R&R, An awards ceremony is planned for
19:00 hours to commend the Tactical Unit for their efforts.
(Ensign Kyros and V’Gorneth both proceed to quarters
to clean up and acquire new uniforms. Ensign Kyros then continues
to sick bay to discuss Losvek 6 antidote with Dr. Robinson.
We discover that the antidote developed on Cardassia Prime
will treat stages one and two of the disease, but not stage
three. Dr. Robinson request that Ensign Kyros start putting
his thoughts together for the rest of the cure. Ensign V’Gorneth
continues to Holodeck 2 for a hoverball match with Commander
Lefler. Commander Lefler wins the first match, Ensign V’Gorneth
wins the second. After their independent diversions, Ensigns
Kyros and V’Gorneth meet up in the holodeck where V’Gorneth
completes a calisthenics program and the two continue to the
ceremony where they and the rest of the Tactical Unit receive
commendations added to their Starfleet Jackets.)
After being assigned quarters, the Tactical Unit has been
temporarily divided and reassigned. Ensigns Smith, Rejal,
Taban, and P’Kyrr have been assigned temporary duty
assignments to the U.S.S. Achilles as the efforts of securing
relations with the Romulans continue. Ensigns Kyros and V’Gorneth
will continue efforts aboard the U.S.S. Valorous, each receiving
a promotion to Lieutenant junior grade. Their medical and
engineering experience in smaller, more covert missions, will
be necessary for upcoming operations. Standard Personal Transporter
Buffers (PTB) have been retrieved and replaced with the new
prototype Personal Transporter Buffer / Personal Shield Generator
(PTB/PSG).
(The U.S.S. Achilles docks with Deep Space 9 and Lieutenants
Kyros and V’Gorneth proceed to their assigned quarters
aboard the station for some well deserved sleep.)
