U.S.S. Valorous Series - Episode 9
Captain’s Log, Stardate: 59998.6

Surrounded by two Romulan Warbirds and a Klingon Bird of Prey, the team is contacted by the enemy vessels and informed that they will be boarded immediately.  Kyros orders Thalorn to begin encrypting and erasing internal communications.  After 75% of all communications are removed, a team of Romulans beam directly to the bridge of the Bird of Prey.  All are order to move away from their stations while the lead officer motions to one of his subordinates.  The subordinate moves to one of the access terminals and places five devices which immediately switch on and begin probing the system.  During this infiltration, Thalorn stands to leave but is promptly halted by one of the Romulans who questions his actions.  Thalorn informs the officer that he has work to attend to in main engineering.  The lead Romulan motions to one of his officers to escort Thalorn to engineering and both proceed to the turbo lift.

In the turbo lift, the guard begins to antagonize Thalorn for which Thalorn fires back a snide remark.  In an instant, Thalorn feels a white-hot prod in his arm and forces him to clutch the wall in pain.  The escort whispers in his ear, “Not so cocky now, are you blue skin?”  Thalorn, angered at the audacity of this Romulan delivers a quick wit come back about his skin tone, and feels the white-hot attack again, but this time in his back.  Thalorn’s knees become unstable and unable to support his weight in which he fully collapses.  As he hits the floor, slightly dazed, the Romulan asks him if he has any other wise cracks he’d like to deliver.  Stubbornly, Thalorn mouths off again.  The white-hot sensation proceeds to spread across his back until he finally blacks out from the constant torture.

Back on the bridge, the lead Romulan officer approaches Kyros and informs him that key amounts of data have become missing from their database during this vessel’s stay at the station.  Acting as Klingons, they decide to play up the questioning of honor.  The Romulan officer informs the crew that they will all be detained for questioning and based on the scans taken of the vessel, there is in fact only one Klingon aboard this vessel and that Kyros is actually a human.  Cover blown, Kyros kills the lead officer and a charge goes off destroying part of the bridge.  The Romulan officers scatter to one side where it would appear that a fire fight is about to break out.  Kyros hits the auto destruct causing a verbal notification from the computer to begin a 2 minute count down.  The Romulans panic and immediately transport off of the Bird of Prey.  Kyros attempts to discontinue the auto destruct sequence but finds that the blast has disabled the circuits and relays necessary to stop the destruct sequence.  V’Gorneth reports that the repairs would take at least 2 hours to complete.  With only substations 1 and 6 left to sabotage, Kyros decides to initiate a site-to-site transport of his entire team to substation 6.  From the window, the team (except for the unconscious Thalorn) views a wonderful ship detonation from a picture window.  The explosion causes Substation 2 to be destroyed, and disables the inspection vessels that circled the Bird of Prey.

All appears to be quiet on Substation 6 as the team revives Thalorn and proceeds to the station’s armory.  After commandeering a few weapons, they notice two small red discs protected by a hand print identification pad and retinal scan.  After careful planning, the team manages a rolling electrical black out through out the station to give them time to disable the security protocols to that section in order to access the secure container.  Once complete, the team takes the discs and plants the rest of their charges on Substations 1 and 6.  Afterwards, the team attempts to store the red discs in one of their transporter buffers, but the buffer rejects the signal based on hazardous materials.  This event provokes a quick scan to reveal that the devices they carry are in fact miniature Thalaron Generators.

Escape from Substation 1 happens by way of a docked shuttlecraft.  The team transmits the signal on the secure frequency provided by Starfleet once clearing the nebula and goes to warp.  During evacuation, enemy forces detected the security breach and begin pursuing the shuttlecraft.  After some masterful power redistributions and multiple shots to the aft and aft/dorsal and ventral shields, the shuttle rendezvouses with the fleet and the pursuing ships disengage.  Starfleet sends ships after them to dispose of them before they can reach the nebula again.

Captain Sherman calls the team to the debriefing room to establish what happened and why there was a lot more noise made than what was planned.  Kyros explains the situations that occurred and how the situations that presented themselves made the “noise” unavoidable.  The captain also reports that all information on Losvek 6 has been wiped from their databanks.  Doctor Bashir from Deep Space 9 also reports the same having joined the crew of the Achilles to assist in the impending battle.  After checking his personal information database, Kyros finds his records to have been erased as well.  It is decided that the battle will commence without the two so they may rush to Cardassia Prime to get another sample of the virus for study.  Having the sample will allow them to prepare an antidote should the virus be used as a weapon against the fleet.

TO BE CONCLUDED…

END TRANSMISSION.
